Happy Birthday to me!

18 Today!

:party: :sing: :#1: :cake: :airborne: :dance: :boogie: :juggle: :w00t: :excited: etc...

Today is my birthday! I'm 18, which means that I'm officially an adult now... great stuff!

Haven't got my driving test booked yet, but, give me time...

I had my party on Thursday evening because that was when everyone was free, we went to Oxford to a very nice restaurant and had a posh meal... very agreeable indeed!

That more than made up for the disappointment of Wednesday, when I visited Manchester university. The day was a bit of a waste of time, because there was no time for personal conversation and we only got told things we already knew from the prospectus. It felt very anonymous and unfriendly, so I don't want to go there now. Which leaves Warwick or Aberystwyth, because I decided I didn't like Sheffield, and Oxford decided they didn't like my written work...

So the jury's still out on where I'll be studying next year... but, as Asquith said, "Wait and see...".

Yeah, keep up the good work with your photography. I forgot to add actually, that this particular shot looks exactly like I imagine a farm in America to look like - the red barn and distinctive shaped silo - and it's even got the flag!

I was hoping it had that calm feel. I'm a bit disappointed that the look of the moonlight wasn't brighter, but this pic has been brightened so it's a bit better. Still, for an experiment I'm quite happy with it. I can't wait to get to the reshoot and go for more stars ;-)
